Brief description of the project:
NG TECHNOLOGY Ltd. is a manufacturer of transformer substations and lighting poles made of metal profiles and pipes. The main activity is developed within the framework of code 27.12 "Manufacture of electrical energy control and distribution apparatus" under the National Classification of Economic Activities.
The company strives to optimize energy use in order to reduce harmful emissions into the atmosphere. The current project is in implementation of the objectives of the procedure "Energy efficiency and use of energy from renewable sources in enterprises" - to provide focused support to Bulgarian enterprises to improve their energy efficiency and promote the use of energy from renewable sources (RE), thereby accelerating the transition of the private sector to climate neutrality. In order to achieve greater energy independence and transition to environmentally friendly activities, the project will build a photovoltaic power plant (including solar panels, inverters, batteries and other components necessary for the operation of the plant) with an inverter power of 50 kW and a battery capacity of 56 kWh. With the planned assets, the company will use environmentally friendly energy for its own needs and will store the excess energy produced by the PV plant. This will increase the efficiency of the overall energy production and storage system. The new Photovoltaic Power Plant will allow the company to ensure a stable energy supply, minimize energy costs and ensure continuity of the production process, which will make it more competitive in the market.
Investments under the procedure comply with the requirements of the principle of "no significant harm" to the environment and will contribute to the country's ecological transition.
Project/information objective(s): The main objective of this project is to implement the objectives of the procedure "Energy Efficiency and Use of Energy from Renewable Sources in Enterprises" - to provide focused support to Bulgarian enterprises to improve their energy efficiency and promote the use of energy from renewable sources (RE), thereby accelerating the transition of the private sector to climate neutrality by reducing the carbon footprint, optimizing energy consumption and increasing RE in the energy mix of enterprises.
Expected project results: As a result of the project implementation, it is expected to reduce energy consumption and costs for electricity and fuels, as well as increase the energy independence of the enterprise. The share of energy used from renewable sources will increase and the negative impacts of fluctuations in energy prices will be limited.
